I am a big fan of this app. But since I upgraded to ios 8 (or even 8.01), the it keeps crashing at opening. Hope they will fix this soon. And hope I havent lost all my demo tracks...

Lots of weird audio artifacts using both internal mic and external interface make recordings unusable/unlistenable. User interface is confusing and hard to navigate when it comes to adding eq/compression. Wish I could get a refund. And hope that updates will make this thing better. Until then Ill use garage band. Wish list: 4 tracks with volume, pan, eq, compression, and a master track with the same. Nothing else needed.

Great app but it keeps crashing on me and I cannot open it. I need help! Can anyone give me some ideas?

I use mine all the time to record my Celtic songs. I get excellent recording of the high tin whistle notes as well as the lower sounds from my bodhran! Transfering songs to pc is very simple as well. Highly recommended if you are seeking a recording app for your musical ventures!

Fantastic program to play and rec. various sounds available for guitars. Fast, complete and high quality

The built in mic recording is working great again, effects are better, and Ive been enjoying using it with Guitarjack stage.

pros - makes sense / intuitive - looks good / no ads - simple usage - some cool amp models - mixdown / export cons - no way to delete a track? - feedback protection warning keeps popping up all the time w headset plugged in - "taylor" branded eq is insulting to our intelligence Hoping the first two cons get resolved, then it would be a five star app.

Love it! Great way to capture song ideas and parts. A few add ons would be great. 1. It would be helpful if when you stop recording it didnt always jump back to the beginning. At least have that option. 2. A little verb would nice in the master fx section :) 3. Be able to delete a take on a track. Maybe an undo function?? 4. Ability to edit beginning and ending points when sharing Great job guys!

SWW did some heavy marketing around this app, which is presented as the ideal companion to its family of GuitarJack audio interfaces. Oh, the friendly reviews, the salesmanship. Youd think it would be rock solid. Well, at this point, its just plain unusable. With a firmware upgrade to run the converters at 24-bit/48kHz, youd expect their own software to match the full hardware spec? Nope. WAV files generated by this app out of the GJ2 (30-pin connector into an iPhone 4) are currently 16-bit/44.1kHz instead of the 24-bit/48kHz the ADC was actually delivering at one point. Good luck finding a setting anywhere in the control panel (which they go to great lengths never to release as a separate app), to fix that. But wait, theres more -- I mean less. Now FourTrack, well, cant track. Set up to record with the GJ2, and it just stops in the middle of things. Just like that. End of file. No warning except if you are monitoring. But by then its too late anyway. When other apps like Røde Mic went to hell, I could still fall back on FT. Not any more. The thing cant even use the companys own hardware. And it was just about the only one with acceptable monitoring. Fortunately, there is still Hindenburg, or TwistedWave, or even Hokusai. Despite monitoring and replay glitches, these apps actually record with the GJ2. TW will even set the ADC correctly to 48kHz if you wish. A proper 24/48 audio file is just an export away. As long as there is a semi-working control panel (and "semi" is mostly what it is, just compare the three embedded versions that cant even operate identically between three SWW apps), you dont have a paperweight. For now.

Like they stated in the App. description - When stereo is armed you will be using track 1 & 2 or tracks 3 & 4 simultaneously! This of course makes it into a 2 track stereo recorder.

Amazing tool to do quick and dirty song ideation on the go. Can you pls add ability to delete a track and Google Drive integration? Only that is keeping it from being perfect :) Thanks!

Been using fourtrack for years and I have no complaints except that it crashes all the time now with iOS 9. I hope the developers come up with a patch as soon as possible. Thanks.

This was a great app until I upgraded to IOS9 .. Now it is broken along with all of the other Sonoma wire works apps. :o(

This is one of my most used apps and now it crashes immediately when opening on iOS 9. Im on an iPhone 6.

When app is launched it quickly disappears even though it shows up as an open app. Great app, but its time to quickly fix it with iOS 9. I need to record.

I just bought this app. Im running iOS9 on an iPhone 5S and like one of the other reviewers it crashes instantly. Please fix! I just paid five dollars for this! Thank you!

iOS 9, iPhone 6... App will NOT even open. CRASHES INSTANTLY. I just downloaded it today. Im currently recording an album with various other apps like GarageBand, in combination with ProTools on a MacBook. FOURTRACK has a feature I was hoping to utilize, that I still hope to utilize. If the APP gets fixed I will gladly use it (which is what I paid for) and update my review accordingly.
